• LLB but Candidates with LLM and Barristers-at-Law will be preferred

Experience:   

• 6 years of relevant experience in a reputable organization or law firm.            

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Able to handle all including criminal, civil, and tax-related litigation pertaining to matters concerning the company or its affiliates and make appropriate representation before various judicial and quasi-judicial forums. Capable of assisting in court case management and maintain proactive liaison with external counsel for the management of the company’s litigation throughout the life cycle.
• Able to make representation before various regulators.
• Able to make applications and carry out follow-ups with regulators for completion of tasks as assigned. Capable of providing legal opinion and advice to management for preempting company’s exposure to legal, regulatory, and contractual risks.
• Able to draft / review documents & preparation and drafting of various legal documents such as petitions and suits pertaining to civil, criminal, constitutional matters and legal advisories.
• Capable of drafting transactional and commercial agreements.
• Able to provide legal advice pertaining to all operational matters including HR/IR & land issues & guidance for the protection of the legal & contractual rights of the Company.
