Institute of Chartered Accountants of Pakistan (ICAP), Karachi Qualification:
- Master’s degree holder (or higher) in Economics, Public Policy, International Trade, Development Studies, or a related field from HEC recognized university OR a Chartered Accountant (ICAP Member) OR a Chartered Financial Analyst.
Experience:
- 5 to 7 years of relevant professional experience in economic research, policy analysis, or advisory roles, preferably with a government department, multilateral or research institutions, or professional association
Jobs Description:
- Conduct and facilitate in-depth research and policy analysis on economic, trade, and fiscal matters relevant to Pakistan and the region. Produce research papers, policy briefs, and opinion pieces to be published under ICAP’s banner. Prepare periodic economic outlook reports and commentary aligned with ICAP’s vision and values.
- Develop and maintain a repository of economic indicators, databases to track and assess macroeconomic trends, government budgets, taxation reforms, and international trade developments.
- Represent ICAP as a subject matter expert in media, seminars, conferences, and other public forums. Advise ICAP’s Council, Management, and relevant Committees on emerging economic issues.
- Collaborate with national and international institutions for joint research and knowledge-sharing. Support ICAP’s advocacy efforts by providing data-backed inputs for policy recommendations
