Senior Software Engineer

• MS / BS / BE (Software, HPC, Cloud, etc.), Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, or equivalent technical Degree; or equivalent combination of education

Experience:

• 4-5 years of Cloud Native application development and QA experience.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Conceive, plan, execute and support cloud native applications at scale. Lead & supervise development of back-end / server-side solutions using server-side languages such as Python, Ruby, Java Spring Boot / Quarkus, PHP, and .Net. Lead & supervise development of front-end Java Script based frameworks such as Angular JS, React, Node.js and Amber.
• Supervise coding of effective APIs and microservices.
• Lead & supervise development of UI/UX with fully responsive front end and appealing visual design conforming to contemporary standards.
• Lead & supervise applications robust backend (database) structure.
• Ensuring cross-platform optimization and responsiveness of applications especially for mobile devices and Design and execute software test plans, test cases & test results.
• Manage offshore testing teams and Excellent understanding of statistical test models and methods.
• Ability to write software TEST strategies, plans, and test cases. Implement automated test harnesses for feature level test automation of APls and web services. Ability to represent data driven root-cause analysis and remediation reports to senior management. Manages the product QA teams.
• Responsible for assigning resources against competing projects and negotiating timelines with PMs and Development Managers. Responsible for the quality of the products being released.
• Testing the software projects and/or final product SQM Manager job entails understanding. the development workflows, frameworks, methodologies; designing and implementing tests, debugging and defining corrective actions; software verification and validity of any features/changes/application.
• Review system requirements and track quality assurance metrics (e.g. defect densities and open defect counts) and for defect management and reporting test results to management as well as other team members.
