- BS/BE Biomedical Engineering/ Electronic Technology or in relevant field
Experience:
- 1 to 3 years experience.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Supervise repair and maintenance of biomedical equipment.
- Carry out first-line independent repairs and troubleshooting of equipment. Interpret and repair electronic circuits down to component level. Diagnose, isolate, and repair faulty software-based systems. Conduct daily departmental rounds to check biomedical equipment status.
- Perform preventive maintenance (PPM) and calibration as per OEM guidelines and Inspect, commission, and train staff on newly inducted biomedical equipment.
- Maintain and update equipment logbooks and documentation (manual and CMMS).
- Organize and deliver technical lectures/training sessions and Guide and supervise junior engineers/technicians in workshop upkeep.
- Ensure compliance with departmental SOPs, ISO, and JCIA standards. Uphold infection-control practices, safe patient-care protocols, and confidentiality. Prepare reports, presentations, inspection / defect records, and meeting minutes.
