Technical Inspector-Doha, Qatar

• Diploma or Bachelor in Mechanical Engineering

Experience:

• 5 Years of experience in Body or Paint Technician with a Mechanical/Electrical background.
• Familiar with vehicle inspections, diagnosis and repairs. Exposure on the Body and Paint Jobs is required to inspect external parts of the vehicle.
• Proficiency in using inspection tools and equipment.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive inspections of vehicles to assess their condition, including mechanical, electrical, structural, interior, exterior and safety components.
• Perform visual checks, vehicle performance by driving and take photographs of the vehicle conditions to access the vehicle pricing. Identify and document any defects, damage, or non-compliance with safety and regulatory standards. Assess the extent of repairs or maintenance required based on inspection findings.
• Estimate the costs of parts, labour, and additional services needed to address identified issues.
• Provide detailed reports outlining inspection results, repair recommendations, and cost estimates to Purchase department for buying the vehicles.
• Ensure that all inspections and estimates comply with relevant regulations and guidelines.
• Maintain accurate records of inspections, estimates, and repair orders in accordance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
