Technician Instrument-PPL, Karachi

• 3-year diploma of associate engineering in electronic or instrument technology

Experience:   

• At least 3 years of relevant experience.
• E&P experience would be preferred.
• Experience of scheduled / breakdown maintenance of gas processing / petrochemical plants relating to electrical and electronics instruments and equipment, including DCS, PLC, ESD, F&G, metering systems, including GC, analyzers, smart pressure transmitters, control valves and their positioners/actuators, vibration monitoring systems, pneumatic control units, control panels / devices.
• Experience on SAP ERP System would be preferred.               

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Responsible for installation, troubleshooting, calibration of instruments in gas processing plants, refineries, fertilizer plants and petrochemical complexes.
• Responsible for maintenance of control valves, PSVs, SDVs and BDVs as well as maintenance and calibration of meters and analyzers and Able to carry out preventive and corrective maintenance of instrumentation equipment on field instruments like smart transmitters, control valves and their positioners/actuators, vibration monitoring systems, DCS, ESD, F&G system, metering Skids.
• Able to execute maintenance activities by following company procedures, work instructions and vendor instructions manuals. Capable of following and applying approved standards and best practices to ensure reliability and integrity of stationary and rotating equipment.
