- Diploma in Electronics, telecommunications, or network administration.
Experience:
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in the similar field
- Knowledge of telecommunication systems, including both hardware and software
- Familiarity with fiber optics, copper lines, and wireless technology Ability to troubleshoot electrical and technical issues
Roles & Responsibilities:
- CCTV and Broadband equipment’s and service maintenance. Testing and troubleshooting broadband connections and familiar with TV installation.
- Responsible for installing and maintaining and repairing distribution racks and interconnecting distribution cables. Wi-Fi, internet and telephone devices installation, loop checking in field and network rooms.
- Assembling and configuration of DVR and NVR systems Installation of network switch, modem, router and ONT etc.
- Cable laying, cable glanding and termination and testing the connectivity of the installed cables and systems.
- Documenting work procedures and updating the results in the system. Identifying and troubleshooting issues and escalating the issues to the higher level.
- Assist customers with broadband issues, providing guidance and support and Perform routine checks and maintenance on broadband systems Work with engineers to resolve complex network issues
