By Pakistan Institute of Development Economics (PIDE), Ministry of Planning, Development and Special Initiative, Islamabad           Qualification:

• Master’s degree (16 or 18 years) in Computer Science, Web Development, Information Technology, Software Engineering, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, or related field from an HEC-recognised university.

Experience:

• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience including Experience with SEO, web design, UX/UI principles, and responsive design. Demonstrated experience in designing, developing, and updating institutional websites and web portals.
• Must possess a blend of technical and strategic competencies, including proficiency in web development, content management systems (CMS), SEO, analytics, and cyber security.
• Strong understanding of UX/UI design principles with the ability to apply best practices to create user-friendly and responsive websites.
• Strong project management and data-driven decision-making skills to align web initiatives with organizational and business goals

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain dynamic WordPress websites using JetEngine & Crocoblock, including API integrations and custom development, with strong proficiency in PHP, JavaScript, jQuery, React, and database management (MySQL). Configure, deploy, and manage Plesk-hosted DigitalOcean servers via SSH.
• Implement and manage media offloading solutions using S3-compatible storage and CDN integration.
• Oversee the development and maintenance of the organization’s website(s). Develop and implement web strategies to improve user experience. Ensure website functionality, security, and performance.
• Collaborate with internal teams to update and manage web content.
• Manage website analytics and monitor web traffic and performance.
• Provide technical support and guidance for web-related issues and Coordinate with external vendors or contractors for web development services.
