Superiority of Modern Services LLC (SOMS), Oman Qualification:
- Bachelors/diploma + certified for NDT Inspection.
- Valid Level 2 certificate ASNT 9712 PCN (or equivalent) in UT, RT, MT and PT and Valid welding certificate-CSWIP 3.1, AWS CWI.
Experience:
- Minimum 10 years in NDT activities.
- Minimum 5 years in similar role and on LNG Plant Construction.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Following-up, monitoring and supervising NDT & Inspection activities carried out by the Plant & Tank Contractors and Subcontractors at Site and if at Vendors Yards as required during the Construction, and Pre-commissioning phases.
- Provide technical support and assistance to any query related to his discipline and implement his discipline methods for the supervision of the day-to-day activities.
- Enforce decisions/directions taken at Management level and as directed by the Senior Welding/ NDT Inspector.
- Closely monitoring the calibration and storage of NDT equipment (Gamma-ray, UT set, MPI…)
