Brunel, Kuwait Qualification:
- Bachelor of Technology / Engineering (Electrical, Electronics / Telecommunication)
Experience:
- Minimum of 10 years’ experience in electrical discipline for oil and gas production facilities or refineries.
- Experience with maintenance planning system like MAXIMO and Effective reporting, communication, and shift handover skills.
- Familiarity with PTW (Permit to Work), confined space entry, electrical isolations, operating integrity, H2S / SO2 (Hydrogen Sulfide / Sulfur Dioxide), personal protective equipment (PPE), etc.
- Adequate knowledge on Electrical PPE and protection.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Performing preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical equipment and systems, including generators, switchgear, motor starters, and protection systems.
- Troubleshooting and diagnosing electrical problems.
- Conducting investigations and root-cause failure analysis. Providing appropriate recommendations for the failure of electrical equipment.
- Maintaining records of maintenance activities in a maintenance planning system like MAXIMO.
- Ensuring safety protocols are followed at all times when working with electrical equipment and systems.
- Ensuring compliance with applicable laws, regulations, codes, standards, etc.
