Qualification:
- Bachelors in Computer Engineering
Experience:
- 2 to 8 years of experience including 2 to 3 years of similar experience and Good communication in English, Arabic will be an added advantage
- Skills: Technical Proficiency: Strong knowledge of audio-visual equipment, IT systems, and technologies. Familiarity with various types of AV/IT cables, connectors, and interfaces.
- Troubleshooting Skills: Ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues quickly and effectively. Proficiency in troubleshooting audio, video, IT and control system problems
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Equipment Setup and Operation: Install, configure, and operate audio-visual equipment including projectors, microphones, speakers, amplifiers, video conferencing systems, cameras, lighting systems, and control systems.
- Technical Support: Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to users before, during, and after events or presentations. Ensure that all AV/IT systems are functioning properly and address any technical issues promptly.
- Event Support: Set up and manage IT/audio-visual equipment for events, conferences, meetings, and presentations. Coordinate with event organizers, presenters, and other staff to meet their AV requirements.
- Maintenance and Repair: Conduct routine maintenance checks on AV /IT equipment to ensure optimal performance and longevity. Diagnose and repair equipment malfunctions or defects as needed.
- Inventory Management: Maintain inventory records of AV/IT equipment, including tracking equipment usage, availability, and maintenance history. Order and replenish supplies as necessary.
- Training and Documentation: Provide training sessions for users on how to operate AV/IT equipment effectively and troubleshoot common issues. Create user manuals, guides, and documentation for reference.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure the quality of audio and video /IT output meets the standards set by the organization or client. Test equipment functionality and conduct sound and video checks before events.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines when handling AV/IT equipment, including proper setup and cable management to prevent accidents or hazards.
