ELV Design & Estimation Engineer-Doha, Qatar

• Bachelor Degree in Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering.
• Master’s Degree is a plus.  The attainment of any of the below certificates is a plus: Project Management Professional (PMP), Certified Estimating Professional (CPE). Registered Communication Distribution Designer (RCDD).

Experience:

• 03-05+ years of experience including a combination of estimating; and project engineering and/or project supervision / management and Knowledgeable of the local market (at least 3 years Qatar experience).
• Experience with Timberline and/or On-Screen Take-off estimating software is a plus.
• Strong numerical and analytical skills

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Design and estimation of ELV systems -CCTV, ACS, Structure Cabling, , Public Address, IPTV, Video Intercom, Audio Visual systems) and Physical security Systems – Road Blockers, Bollards, Gate Barrier and Tire Killer and Generate Take Off and BOQ cost sheet and Request and validate the supplier quotation and negotiation with offer and costing preparation.
• Analyze and validate the project inquiry, Tenders specifications, and scope of work and define most suitable solution (Product architecture, solution) and deliverables according to the requirements, Value- Engineering and system optimization.
• Regulate MOI-SSD for CCTV and regulate QCDD for Public address systems and Prepare technical and commercial proposals for Tender submissions.
• Conduct Site survey when required for preparation of Cost effective solution and Estimate and budget resources required for projects, including materials, labor, equipment, and time, ensuring accurate cost estimates and financial feasibility.
• Demonstrate in-depth technical knowledge and expertise in the relevant engineering discipline, staying updated with the latest technologies and methodologies.
• Identify potential risks in design choices and implement measures to mitigate those risks, ensuring compliance with safety standards and regulations.
