• Mechanical engineering degree                             

Experience:

• Substantial work experience in conducting tunnel ventilation simulation studies, hands-on experience of simulation software e.g., SES/IDA.
• Additional hands-on experience of CFD simulation software e.g., FDS/CFX preferable.
• Excellent written and verbal communications skills. Willingness to undertake short overseas trips (up to 1-2 weeks).

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Understanding of CFD simulation studies and FDS/ CFX hands on experience not necessary but preferred).
• Execution experience in Tunnel Ventilation System design work, from concept to detailed design stages.
• Demonstrating key engineering calculations; Basic TVS fan
• Pressure loss calcs, acoustic calcs, mode tables, interlock schedules etc. Engineering design development within a BIM environment. Interface management in a multi-discipline design environment
