• Master’s in Economics, Finance or related fields from HEC recognized institutions, or a reputed international university

Experience:

• Minimum 05 years of relevant experience.
• Prior experience in producing research reports.
• Excellent knowledge of Pakistan’s Economy with a good understanding of the global economy and various macroeconomic factors involved.
• Advanced knowledge of statistical forecasting and data analysis and advanced knowledge of econometrics / economics models and tools.                     

Jobs Description:

• Conducting sectorial research for analyzing economic data and trends to provide insights and recommendations to stakeholders. Analyzing income patterns to understand the impact of economic policies and market conditions on different groups of consumers and businesses.
• Gathering and interpreting quantitative and qualitative data related to real estate sector, demographic & economic and provide recommendations based on the research.
• Producing research articles, position papers on housing and property sector and related subjects. Proficient use of Econometric Software for data analysis and interpretation. Identifying areas of topical research, largely related to macroeconomics like inflation, growth, savings, etc., and supervise research & analysis in theoretical and applied economics in line with the strategic objectives of HBFC.
• Conducting research for comparative analysis with other economies. Producing research papers on Public Policy and Development Finance.
