- High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical certifications or vocational training in automotive repair is preferred.
Experience:
- Proven experience as an auto mechanic or technician, with at least 3-5 years of experience in light auto maintenance and repair. Strong technical knowledge of light auto systems, including engines, transmissions, electrical systems, and HVAC. Proficient computer skills, including familiarity with maintenance management software and basic office applications. Knowledge of safety protocols and regulatory requirements related to auto repair operations.
- Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Responsible for overseeing the operations and activities related to light auto maintenance and repair.
- Supervising a team of mechanics and technicians, ensuring the timely completion of work orders, maintaining quality standards, and managing customer relationships.
- Monitor and evaluate the performance of mechanics and technicians, providing constructive feedback and conducting performance reviews. Maintain accurate records of work orders, inventory, and maintenance activities, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to procure necessary parts and equipment, ensuring their availability for repair jobs.
