- Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering is required
Experience:
- Minimum 15 years of chemical process engineering experience in similar EPC environment for Onshore / Offshore projects and having experience in Concept & sizable FEED and EPIC projects. Significant experience of team supervision and/or coordination.
- Experience with determining best practices and procedures while contributing to the development of new concepts.
- Experience with process simulation software (i.e., Aspen Plus, HYSYS, Pro II, Flare net, Pipe net transient, OLGA etc.)
- Field experience including troubleshooting, start-up, commissioning, etc. would be a plus.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Carry out surge studies using Pipe net Transient.
- Develop and document Process Design Basis.
- Carry out process studies independently.
- Evaluate and optimize process schemes.
- Provide assistance to the HOD, as requested, in the areas of schedules, estimates, progress reports, meetings, procurement, activities etc.
- A deep and thorough understanding of codes, regulatory requirements and industry practices.
- Develops process execution and quality plan for projects. Optimizes engineering analysis and solutions produced by Process engineering teams.
- Ensures that the operating, quality control procedures, standards and project specifications are followed.
- Ensures good quality, schedule and cost of Process engineering activities within projects and/or operations and Develops Process Engineers by providing appraisal of activities, training and coaching.
