China Railway Construction Corporation Limited SA Qualification:

• Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain management, or a related field. Certification in procurement or supply chain management, such as Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM) or Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP).                                                             

Experience:

• Experience in procurement or supply chain management, preferably in the construction industry.
• Knowledge of construction procurement processes and regulations

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement procurement strategies for mega projects, including sourcing, negotiation, and contract management and Lead a team of procurement professionals to ensure timely and cost-effective procurement of goods and services. Identify and qualify potential suppliers, conduct supplier evaluations, and negotiate contracts to secure the best value for the project.
• Monitor supplier performance and manage supplier relationships to ensure compliance with contract terms and project requirements and Oversee the procurement process, including the issuance of requests for proposals, bid evaluations, and awarding of contracts.
• Develop and maintain procurement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with legal and ethical standards.
• Analyze market trends and industry best practices to identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
• Manage the procurement budget and provide regular reports on procurement activities and cost savings to project stakeholders. Develop and implement procurement strategies for mega projects, including identifying and selecting suitable subcontractors and suppliers.
• Lead the procurement team in negotiating and finalizing contracts with subcontractors, ensuring favorable terms and conditions for the project. Develop and maintain strong relationships with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure a reliable and efficient procurement process.
• Oversee the procurement budget and ensure cost-effective procurement practices while maintaining high quality standards
