  • Diploma in engineering major – Certificate related to HVAC disciplines. 
  • Knowledge: Technical knowledge and familiar with related international codes and standards in particular discipline. Able to check that suitable and appropriate inspection and test tools are used. Investigate and analyze nonconformities and observations and figuring out solutions. Capability of planning and controlling inspections for medium scale project (0.5~1.5 billion dollar). Good understanding of all HVAC related Acronyms in the drawings. Fair knowledge about design basis and its calculations method. Basic understanding of the electrical & controls system. Ability to provide the root cause for any constructional & other respective deficiencies. Knowledge about the importance of preservation techniques.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Job Specific Specialty: ITP Study, Prevention and solving inconsistency, Pre-Inspection, RFI Management, Punch Clear Management, Punch Clear Implementation, Construction Completion, Pre- Commissioning Activities, Plant Start-Up, Operation, Maintenance and Final Hand-over
  • Competencies: Client Management, Work Proficiency, Problem solving, Documentation Control, Technical Know-how, Decision Making and Reports preparation
  • Managing and performing inspection of HVAC discipline. Generate client Requests for Inspection (RFI) where required providing sufficient notice for hold, witness and inspection points. Prepare / Review the following Quality procedure documents submitted by the Subcontractors such are Inspection Test Plan (ITP), Material Approval Request (MAR).  Prepare / Review / approve the related inspection reports where inspection results are recorded. Controlling inspection status by using systematic tools such as inspection matrix. Setting and applying practical inspection process of particular discipline based on Project requirements and International Codes (providing ITP & managing Matrix). Control NCRs to be closed out within the due date and supporting to prepare Corrective Action Plan properly. Performing and coordinating inspection with client. Carry out QC Supervisor’s responsibility in his/her absence. Control quality violations through regular tool box talk with the construction team. Review and track material submittals required for HVAC Definable Features of Work prior to Preparatory Meetings. Conduct Preparatory Meetings with Subcontractors related to HVAC Definable Features of Work. Inspect incoming material deliveries by confirming specifications and compliance with approved submittals, conduct visual and measurement tests in conjunction with the onsite logistics team. Reject and facilitate the return of unacceptable materials. Ensure to apply lessons learnt and proper preventive action conducted. Inspects and tests HVAC parts, assemblies, and accessories prior to installation for conformance to specifications and quality standards.
