  • Bachelor’s degree in public health, international development, education, political sciences, management or a related field is typically required. 
  • Master’s degree in a relevant field could be preferred.        .      

Experience:

  • At least 3-5 years of experience in project management, preferably in public health or education sectors, with a focus on program implementation and coordination.
  • Experience working with government agencies, NGOs, or international organizations involved in health or education initiatives is highly beneficial.
  • Experience in managing and resolving conflicts, as well as fostering a positive work environment, is valuable.
  • Proficiency in project management methodologies, including planning, budgeting, monitoring, and evaluation. Familiarity with public health interventions, particularly deworming programs, and understanding of relevant policies, regulations, and best practices is desirable

Jobs Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development and facilitation of provincial school-based deworming programs within respective regions or provinces, collaborating closely with relevant departments of the provincial or regional government with support from Team Lead.
  • Facilitate engagements between the provincial government and steering committees or technical working groups, aiding in the preparation of work plans and budgets while actively participating in related meetings. Ensure optimal stakeholder management for smooth execution of programs. 
  • Effectively manage the provincial school-based deworming program on a day-to-day basis, emphasizing the need for capacity assessment and building. Recruit, supervise, and manage provincial and district teams to ensure the smooth and effective implementation of the school-based deworming program. Actively supervise the payment process to Lead/Master Trainers and Teachers in collaboration with Finance and Admin teams of IRD, adhering to agreed-upon mechanisms.
  • Knowledge management activities, including the documentation and dissemination of best practices, lessons learned, and program data. Contribute to drafting policy briefs, strategic plans, and other key program-related documents to inform decision-making and advocacy efforts
