• Chartered Engineer and/or hold honors degree in Civil Engineering from the recognized University and conversant with construction techniques, quality procedures, sampling and testing procedures of soils, gravel/rock, concrete, etc.

Experience:

• At least 8 years’ experience inspecting dam construction and related works Earth works for dam embankments, Grouting and asphalt core for the foundation treatment and impervious barrier in the body of the dam and concreting and RCC works including during hot weather

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Able to communicate technically or otherwise with the Contractor and his staff.
• Knowledge for identifying when a procedure is not correct and to record and communicate the information to the RE.
• Knowledge of contractual standards in Oman.
• Knowledge of preparing and checking working drawings and Ability to prepare recommendations for corrective action.
