• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing is required

Experience:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in Clinical Nursing. 
• 3 years experience in Medical and Surgical Ward.
• Must be eligible to take the SCFHS exam.
• Preferably with valid SCFHS Nursing Specialist / Technician license / certificate.
• Current licensure as a professional registered nurse.
• Proficient in English                                 

Roles & Responsibilities:   

• Patient Care: Monitoring patient conditions, administering medications, providing wound care, and ensuring patient comfort and safety.
• Assessment: Conducting regular patient assessments, including vital signs monitoring, pain assessments, and evaluating treatment effectiveness.
• Documentation: Maintaining accurate patient records, documenting assessments, interventions, and outcomes. Communication: Collaborating with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care. Communicating with patients and their families to provide updates and address concerns. Education: Providing patient and family education regarding medications, treatments, and self-care techniques. Coordination: Coordinating patient admissions, transfers, and discharges. Ensuring seamless transitions of care between different healthcare settings. Emergency Response: Responding to medical emergencies, initiating appropriate interventions, and stabilizing patients as needed. Infection Control: Implementing infection control protocols to prevent the spread of infections within the ward.
