By a leading chemical business based in Karachi Qualification:
- BS/BE in mechanical or chimerical engineering from a leading university.
Experience:
- At least 15 years of professional experience, probably in a large national or multinational organization with at least 5 years of experience in the same/similar position
- Proven track record of handling large-scale process units like chemical, oil & gas or cement
- Fully conversant with the industrial, commercial and regulatory norms of the country.
Jobs Description:
- Oversee daily plant and supply chain operations against set benchmarks and lead day-to-day production activity with a focus on capacity utilization, yield maximization and extending the life of production assets through effective maintenance
- Oversee the conversion and value addition process and contribute towards its optimization
- Lead the supply chain activities to deliver on optimized and cost-effective materials management operation
- Define and implement policies, ways of working, personnel and compliances related to the overall efficiency of plant and supply chain operations
