• Bachelor’s degree in the field of communications, public relations or media and journalism will be considered.

Experience:

• Minimum 1 year of experience in the relevant field.
• Computer Literacy and proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel

Jobs Description:

• Plan, organize and conduct the communication component of project activities/events including drafting the background notes, review branding plans, media relations, taking photos, preparing talking points, invitations, and press-release
• Develop communication strategy for project, global communication strategy and advocacy strategy.
• Produce quality and appropriate information materials for outreach to different audiences
• Develop action plan for communication in consultation with sector leads and key partners and like-minded organizations.
• Managing the communication budget.
• Proactively develop cutting-edge media materials, including videos and social media products, within the guidelines of the Project Manager.
• Proactively come up with innovative communication ideas which can add value in all donors proposals
• Write press releases, speeches, and talking points as required.
