Archirodon Construction (Overseas) Company Limited, UAE Qualification:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- NACE Level II / BGAS CSWIP Grade 2
Experience:
- 10 years of experience (ADNOC experience will be an advantage). Knowledgeable in surface preparation and painting of various materials, use of blasting equipment, Painting instruments.
- Hands on in the inspection of surface preparation, blasting, Painting, Coating, Fire proofing, Insulation activities.
- Familiar in the review and approval of Product certificates – garnets and paints.
- Adept in the qualification of paint systems and applicator qualifications. Shall be familiar with various pipeline coating systems and the methods for inspection and certification including Holiday testing , salt contamination , DFT, WFT .
- Shall be well experienced in the preparation , review and approval of ITP, Method statements, Procedures.
- Conversant with International Codes and Standards, SHELL DEP, ADNOC specifications.
- Shall be familiar with repair methods for painting and coating including their pre-qualification process.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Monitors all phases and processes required for the effective completion of all related Painting & coating works and in particular issues of design, procurement, construction and final hand over of the related Painting & coating works.
- Monitors the implementation of Method Statements, and, Inspection & Test Plans related to Painting & coating works, and ensure all necessary records are generated in a timely manner in their area of assigned responsibility.
- Manages the inspection and testing of Painting & coating works in their area of assigned responsibilities, including monitoring the work of QC Inspectors under their authority.
- Monitors the close out of punch lists established for incomplete related to Painting & coating works.
- Monitors all measurement & testing instruments employed for Mechanical works, that they are functional and calibrated.
- Prepares, files, maintains test/inspection records and any other quality records generated related to Painting & coating works
