Experience:
- Minimum 2 years of experience working with Early Childhood Development projects. Strong written and spoken communication skills in English. In addition, need to be able to communicate in Zulu, Xhosa, or Afrikaans
Jobs Responsibilities:
- Conduct secondary research on Early Childhood Development (ECD) delivery in South Africa, nutritional support, design of home kits, and others as needed and Develop checklists and observational guides for preliminary site identification based on the Department of Basic Education’s requirements as well as a bespoke community needs survey.
- Participate in on-ground field visits and research with the program team and partners where feasible.
- Conduct preliminary community surveys and focus group discussions (where required). Consolidate findings and learnings for weekly meetings.
- Serve as the coordination point person between the program team and partners.
- Conduct data analysis of field and programmatic data.
- Manage a small team of field officers during the pilot stage of the program.
