By Stafford Lawrence, Oman Branch for European Engineering Construction Consultancy for their offices in Oman SALARY & BENEFITS: This is a full-time permanent position with a well-known engineering consultancy. Salary: including accommodation allowance of 2500-3200 OMR per month. This can be discussed on a case-by-case basis and is negotiable for the right person. In addition transport allowance is provided, Medical insurance cover is provided on top of the basic salary and Mobilization flights and visa costs. Single status candidates for this position and married or family status will not be provided for this role. Qualification:
- BSc in a relevant construction or Engineering discipline such as Civil Engineering.
- MSc in a relevant subject desirable
Experience:
- Minimum of 20 years of experience (years from degree qualification). Experience as a Resident Engineer for Rock fill or Earth fill Dams. Candidates without DAM experience should not apply.
- Knowledge of acting as a Resident Engineer on Earth fill Dams with a Height of 50 meters. Experience of Dams with an asphalt core is an extra bonus.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Calculations, coordinate the preparation of drawings and prepare design reports and specifications.
- Independently develop engineering designs for Airport
