• BE/BS Computer Science or equivalent degree from HEC recognized university/

Experience:

• 2-3 years of relevant experience, At least 2 years of working experience on Oracle 11G/12C.
• Experience with all aspects of database administration including installation, configuration, upgrades, patching, migration, capacity planning, performance tuning, backup and recovery. Core competency with Oracle 11g RDBMS and Oracle 12c RDBMS. (19c would be a Plus)
• Experience/Advanced knowledge of logical and physical database modeling concepts and techniques.
• Knowledge of database performance factors, maintenance tools, monitoring tools and tuning procedures                 

Jobs Description:

• Manage Oracle Databases for Production & DR Instances. Strong technical experience with Oracle RAC/ASM and Oracle DataGuard architecture on Oracle 11g and Oracle 12c.
• paResponsible for evaluating patch releases from Oracle and patching requests from development, and communicating constraints, issues, and timelines for deployment.
• Proactive database monitoring in support of metrics, issue avoidance, and issue resolution.
• Work with cross-functional teams to resolve technical performance issues/bottlenecks (e.g., network, storage, application).
• Import & Export Oracle PeopleSoft Database backups.
• Develop and implement database performance monitoring process and analyze monitoring data for performance optimization opportunities and capacity planning.
• Communicate database requirements to the development team for the design and implementation of database-related code. 
• Defining Back-up, Archiving and Disaster recovery strategy. 
• Produce technical documentation related to the databases under management according to technology standards.
