Qualification:

• B Sc or Safety qualification  Pipelines or Professional Occupational Safety accreditation such as NEBOSH Certificate or equivalent

Experience:

• 10 years of major project experience
• Experience on similar position on major pipeline projects offshore
• Experience of Middle Eastern ship yards with multilingual workers
• Experience in offshore installation activities.
• Good level in written and spoken English

Jobs Description:

• Supervises and provide oversight and guidance for HSES / regulatory compliance / performance during the installation and hook-up phases offshore and champion on-site safety awareness and safe performance with contractor and among the Project Team;
• Supervises HSES Tool Box Meetings and ensures Contractor’s team compliance. 
• Leads the supervision of contractor’s activities with particular note of compliance with contractor’s approved Project HSES procedures,during fabrication, load-out,installation and hook-up phases offshore. 
• Ensures that the company HSES team supervise the daily activities of the contractor HSES officers to ensure the effective implementation of all Project HSES requirements.
• Manages the supervision of the daily contractor’s activities and performance.
• Coordinates delivery of specific HSES related training as per the Competency Matrix and ensures accurate records are maintained;
• Leads the supervision of contractor /sub-contractor HSES staffing and experience levels and effectiveness.
•  Enhance at Project offshore locations, the risk awareness and support / supervise the project behavior programs by ensuring at least 90% availability on site;
• Provide leadership and support to contractor and sub-contractors HSES networks with particular emphasis on less empowered and less experienced HSES Officers.
