Jobs Description:

  • Responsible for the day-to-day operation of Food and Beverages Services and must ensure F and B Services unit operates efficiently, meets performance goals, timelines and standards.
  • Defines service standards regarding Service Guest Handling and ensures adherence to these. 
  • Directs the Budgeting process for all capital and operational requirements in order to achieve the required profitability. Identifies and develops new products, menu engineering, equipment and amenities to enhance the product quality
  • Ensures prompt, efficient and accurate service to all the guests to achieve high level of guest satisfaction by managing and overseeing entire restaurant operations.  Sets up and ensures maintenance of the outlet according to hotel LQA standards. Optimizes seating capacity by constantly monitoring reservation status and professionally allocating tables. Estimate consumption, forecast requirements and maintain inventory. Monitors and controls quantities, costs and quality of supplies for the outlet and minimizes the outlet waste.  Controls pilferage and breakage to cut down operational cost. Ensures guest histories are maintained and updated on a daily basis and develops and plans guest loyalty program. Helps in developing new menu and updates the existing menu. Helps in developing overall marketing strategy for the outlet. Ensures that outlet employees adhere to hotel policies and standards. Monitors operations and initiates the corrective actions. Well versed with the Opera and other ERP. Ensures cost effectiveness of resources (material and staff) under his/her control to achieve optimum profitability. Ensure effective implementation of the following code of conduct at all times: Ensures all the staff in the department is fully trained through constant on-the-job training.
  • Responsible for setting procedures and training to ensure fast and courteous service.
  • Recommends promotions and disciplinary action for subordinates.
  • Assists in hiring, performance appraisals, internal promotions/ transfers. 
  • Handles team conflicts and grievances.
