By Institute of Business Administration, Karachi      Qualification:

  • At least postgraduate degree preferably majors in English/ Mass communication from an HEC recognized university / institute. Certificate in Business Communication skills will be preferred

Experience:

  • At least 2 years of experience, preferably in relevant field.
  • Prior research experience would be an added advantage.        

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Effectively market the journal to increase visibility and manage the external front of the Business Review, including all communication with authors, reviewers, and international agencies.
  • Timely correspondence with authors and reviewers.
  • Communicate with the reviewers and ensure constructive feedback is provided to the authors. 
  • Maintaining records of submissions, carrying out similarity checks, and preserving complete records of incoming/ accepted and rejected manuscripts for HEC requirement purposes. Responsible for proofreading the finalized papers to check for grammar, syntax, and punctuation errors to improve the journals readability.
  • Typesetting the papers using LaTeX software. 
  • Initiating and carrying out documentation related to indexation and coordinating and dealing effectively with the respective agencies. Following ethical guidelines and ensuring compliance for indexation of journals in SCOPUS, HEC, and Web of Science. 
  • Planning and publishing special issues of journals for academic conferences held at the IBA-Karachi.
