Senior Manager HR Employee Relations-IBA, Karachi

Institute of Business Administration (IBA), Karachi                 Qualification:

• Master’s degree in human resources from an HEC recognized university/institute, a diploma in Industrial Relations, and an LLB (which is preferred)

Experience:

• At least 8-10 years of experience in employee relations / industrial relations in a reputable organization, with public sector exposure being an added advantage.

Jobs Description:

• Responsible for developing and implementing effective employee relations strategies and programs to foster a positive work environment.
• Development and maintenance of HR policies and procedures, ensuring they align with best practices and legal requirements and dealing with disputes, conflicts, and grievances, and advising management on matters such as equal employment opportunity, sexual harassment, and discrimination and effectively resolving employee grievances to improve the experience of staff and faculty during their employment and after their separation.
• Ensures adherence to all Labor laws and regulations.
• Managing legal issues related to the employment of staff and faculty, etc. Handling of disciplinary cases referred to by the competent authority in accordance with policy and SOP.
• Initiating unbiased disciplinary action, including but not limited to, show cause, warnings, inquiries, and proceedings in accordance with relevant laws and IBA policies.
• Ensuring the implementation of IBA rules and regulations, SOPs, and the Code of Conduct in their true spirit along with legal and regulatory requirements.
• Issuing warning letters, explanations, inquiries, and conducting counseling sessions, and attending formal or informal complaints, grievances, disputes, etc.
• Ensuring that all HR Operations functions comply with approved HR policies
