- Graduated in Civil Engineering (Diploma or ITI)
Experience:
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience as Surveyor on the construction of Substations and associated cable laying works for major power distribution.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills in English both written and verbal in English.
- GCC driving License is a must
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Cross check demarcation and levels of cable routes done by contractors’ surveyor and give clearance.
- Check and confirm correctness of alignment and level of cable laid by contractor with respect to survey information provided by Dubai Municipality / consultant. Check and certify (as-built) drawings received from cable laying contractors against the demarcated corridor for posting in GIS.
- Carry out measurement of work done by contractors for installation of cables. Demarcate and cross check cable route survey works with the objective to ensure the laid cables are in correct corridor / level within DEWA /RTA / DM requirements.
- Safety: follow and adhere to the OH&S Management System manual as per DEWA’s safety standers.
