• Master’s Degree in Finance & Accounting or relevant certification CA/ACCA/ CPA.

Experience:

• Minimum of eight years of working experience with last two years as a Finance Manager.
• Working knowledge of GAAP principles and Local Tax.
• Strong knowledge of accounting software- QuickBooks will be an advantage and Hands-on experience with budgeting and Financial Reporting.
• Knowledge of data analysis and forecasting models. Well-versed in Microsoft Office.

Jobs Responsibilities:

• Managing and overseeing all the Financial Management, including Accounting, Grant Reporting, Internal Controls, Statutory Compliance, and related financial responsibilities of the IRD South Africa business. Perform financial management duties, including generating financial data, compiling, and submitting reports, analyzing industry trends, and assessing the company’s financial health.
• Oversee the operations and development of the company’s finance departments, including creating and reviewing policies, budgeting, recruiting, training, internal controls, and conducting regular assessments/ updates of financial policies & procedures.
• Maintain an accurate filing and record-keeping system for all financial statements and company documents, ensuring compliance with local regulatory requirements and Overall management of vendor & employee payments. Grants Management & timely financial reporting to the grantors as per requirements.
• Ensuring compliance with contractual obligations. Responsible for planning and forecasting activities to achieve business and company goals. Manage and coordinate with external auditors for annual and program audits and Manage and supervise the financial team and Prepare financial deliverables for higher management meetings
