For Human Resource Solutions International (HRSI), Karachi                                                                  Qualification:

  • Law Degree from HEC recognized Law School / University. Solicitor, Bar-at-law or
  • L.L.M will be an added advantage              

Experience:

  • Minimum 6-8 years of overall experience, preferably in a large national / multinational organization with at least 3-6 years of related functional experience in a similar role at a senior equivalent position

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Provide legal support on matters as required by the management and various functions of the Company, including: Corporate governance issues and corporate compliance matters and  contract drafting and negotiations such as sale and purchase agreements, NDAs, SLAs, bank guarantees, etc.;
  • Disputes (arbitration and litigation) and financing agreements and responsible for structuring, drafting and reviewing reports and other legal documents;
  • Provide legal advice, propose solutions on a wide variety of matters (commercial and civil law, labor law, PPRA, company laws, intellectual property laws etc.) and  handle/monitor corporate litigation, review pleadings before filing in the courts, maintain proper record/status of court cases and follow up with external lawyers in addition to negotiating professional fee with them;
  • Review and draft all relevant contracts, agreements, letters, proposals etc. to ensure compliance with the prevailing laws and highlight issues that may have legal and statutory implications for the Company
